Drama! Already!
Day 2 and my knee has completely stiffened up, must have been those cobbles and definitely felt like the old ITB! To say that I was a little frustrated yesterday was an understatement! Decided to take a couple of days off to let it calm down following an entertaining visit to a Polish doctor to get anti inflammatories…
On the plus side, I’ve been able to spend quality time with my amazing mum, who is always there for me. I think I also finally started to relax following the madness of finishing work and getting ready the past few weeks. A nice feeling.
Fortunately, by the end of day 3, no pain so going to start again but take it easy for a couple of days.
I have a feeling I’m going to learn a lot about listening to my body…

Only just found this blog tonight after reading Runners World. So sorry for the late support, but I’ll be reading it to the end. It might seem a bit silly saying it now, but getting pains on the first day must have been a big blow. Hooked already…. 🙂
