Dulmen to Gahlen – 36km

Terrain: canal paths, cycle paths and road
Compared to yesterday, today was fairly sedate and uneventful, to be expected really.
It started off pretty foggy on forest trails, I’m certainly glad it wasn’t nighttime, spooky.
The rest of the journey was pretty pleasant with some stretches by water, which I always enjoy.
A few more pics from today.
Some signs of autumn.
More coloured bears!
The last stretch.
I’ve also decided that every now and then, I’m going to highlight stories that I read about refugees. This is because, ultimately, the plight of refugees is the backbone of this challenge and I think it’s important that we are aware of what our fellow human beings are going through on a daily basis. It certainly puts things into perspective.
