Terrain: A cycle path! (briefly) and hilly roads

I set out this morning in the thick fog again to arrive at a forest and to find a beautiful cycle path! Woohoo!

Sadly though, only for about 5km. I was getting slightly ahead of myself, hoping it might take me all the way to Senlis, clearly wishful thinking.

Some real killer hills today but on the bright side, you get to go down too, the fun bit.

I’ve continued to be pretty lucky with the places I have stopped for the night.

Senlis is absolutely gorgeous. Narrow cobbled roads with lots of little boutiques and lovely restaurants. I jumped straight into a quaint little creperie when I go here, yummm.

The most exciting thing is that I see my Mum tomorrow! She’s coming to meet me en route, we’re going to spend the night together and then hopefully Friday night I’m going to be in my own bed for a few nights. So so excited to see people I know and have a cuddle from my mum. Soppy but true!

I came across this wonderful quote today:
