Tours to Sorigny – 22km

Not too much to report today despite the title of this post!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The weather wasn’t great this morning and I got pretty wet before arriving in this place called Sorigny which is frankly a little depressing. In some of these small villages I arrive in,  there really isn’t really much apart from a busy main road, plus it’s Sunday so everything is closed. I’m even the only person staying in this little hotel! Party central!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One slightly disconcerting thing is that it’s hunting season in France. I looked up towards the end of the today’s jaunt to find three men with guns (not something I see every day) and realizing I was in a hunting zone!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have to say, they probably weren’t too enamored by my presence. I think Bob and I are more of a repellant than anything else.

The good thing is that I’ve rested my legs for the rest of the day as tomorrow is going to be a longer one. One of the benefits of staying somewhere where there’s nothing to see!
