Almenara to Valencia – 37km

Firstly, I want to say a HUGE and MASSIVE thank you to the amazing support I received when I posted my vivrunseurope video yesterday (and just generally). I’m completely blown aware and quite overwhelmed.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to look at the video, ‘like’ it, write comments, sponsor me, share on their social media. As a result, the facebook version of the video now has over 2,400 views! So exciting and hopefully playing a role in raising awareness for the plight of refugees which, as you know, I feel so strongly about. Too many innocent people are caught up in conflicts worldwide.
And the other big news…is that I crossed the 3,000km mark today! Woohoo! Big smiles and everyone’s support is such a wonderful boost.
Managed to avoid the big roads again today which was a bonus and as I was heading into a pretty major city, lots of pavement and even a proper cycle path.
Look at what I found!
Other pics from today’s little ‘wander’.
I arrived in Valencia pretty late following a spell this morning when I took a break due to not feeling too grand (I think it’s called a massive caffeine overdose, oops).
Quite a grand entrance to the city centre.
I managed to have a bit of a wander but I don’t think I’ve seen all of what this city has to offer, need to rest the old legs too! I’m sure I’ll catch more as I head out tomorrow.
More of Valencia.
merci pour ces belles photos de valencia
fais attention de ne pas trop te fatiguer

Hi Viviane,
Though I don’t know you personally, I’ve seen you around at RDC and Babs told me about this amazing project that you’re doing. Half mental, wholly inspiring. Good luck with the last stretch.
