Still smiling on clouds thanks to all of the amazing support so again, thank you to everyone. Blown away is now an understatement.
Today was lovely and relaxing. It took a while to get out of Valencia but on the way I came across this, lots of knitted bits and pieces, really gorgeous.
I then realised that it was actually a memorial for the 43 people who lost their lives in a metro accident in 2006. A lovely memorial, very touching and so pleased that it’s still there.
On the way out of Valencia.
Then, I spotted a lovely quiet road heading in the right direction and actually ended up in beautiful parkland, bonus and so tranquil.
Zooming past me, oh well.
A beautiful route and a bird watchers paradise with all of the water, shame I don’t know much about them!
On the home straight, beautiful colours.
So far I’m really enjoying Spain since I’ve been back. I’ve moved away from the super touristy coast (mostly closed at this time of year so a little glum) to what feels a bit more like ‘real’ Spain. I even got chatting to a few locals in the town square this evening (who spoke French!), lovely.
